Rare Disease Day 2/28
February 28th each year is an international celebration and awareness of Rare Diseases. There are 200 rare cancers and 300 million rare diseases.
April is Adrenal Disease Month
This month is to bring awareness to Adrenal Diseases. Due to the rareness of Adrenal Diseases this month is dedicated to bringing research and awareness to this usually overlooked diagnosis.
Blue Butterfly
A blue butterfly is very symbolic for Adrenal Insufficiency due to the symbolism of the butterfly.
Rare Zebras
The Symbol of the Zebra is to represent the way that doctors do not see the Zebra in the room. (rather than an elephant in the room)
