Alex's Lemonade Stand helps those with little siblings with some handouts 

The majority of cancer centers give some helpful information as well, so check in with them to see what is available in your area. 

Tips you Have to know:

  • Please get an ACC expert to care for you

  • Find someone who is your support and takes you to appointments

  • Get a great nurse for surgery stays (they know where the snack cart is) 

  • Let people help you

  • Enjoy any and all "Cancer perks"

  • Mitotane sucks but it could work so try it and see

  • There is some genetic causes if you have them

  • IV chemo is available too- EDP is widely used

  • Take Lomotil and Zofran if needed

  • Liquid IV helps with dehydration

  • Be patient with yourself- PTSD can happen

  • Get second opinions

  • Find support that helps you- you will find your tribe so keep looking if you are having trouble finding them

  • Ask questions and understand your diagnosis for as much as your comfortable knowing
